At Skala Sotiros there is a long beach with shallow clear waters. Besides, the village itself is a marvellous colourful place, due to the huge plane trees and the fountains where crystal-clear water springs from. At the village’s tavern and at the café, one may enjoy the popular traditional goat kid’s meat or just a coffee, along with some tasty stewed fruit with syrup, for which Thassos is very famous.
