Thirea's burial tomb
The burial mound of Thirea islocated in the 8th kilometer of national road of Didymoteicho - Orestiada between Thireas and Asimenio villages. This is one of the largest mounds in the northern Evros with diameter of 47.5 meters and a height of 10 meters. During excavations was revealed the skeleton of a horse and various parts of the harness.
