records of residents and historians. The purpose of the museum is the collection, maintenance, preservation and promotion of the objects from the region of Cappadocia, dating from the late 19th and early 20th century, a period when the community of Cappadocia was flourished. Most of the exhibits were donated by families, relics of great value that despite the adverse conditions of their displacement, the first generation of refugees managed to carry many of them from their ancestral homes. Also some interesting exhibits have been collected from the last tours of the Association in the villages of Cappadocia. Through the exhibits, the visitors can find information about the everyday tasks, the tools that were used on errands of the inhabitants of Cappadocia. There are books with "karamanlidiki” writing, jewelry, furniture, photos and old pictures saved by the displacement and preserved with great care by the Association.
