Xylagani is a large village in the prefecture of Rhodope. The area is rural with large irrigated plains of crops, which most of them are cotton and grains crops. It is 17 km from Komotini and has 1,180 residents based on the 2011 census. Xylagani has rich archaeological finds, which include parts of arcopolis and tombs with grave goods.
