The Archaeological Museum of Alexandroupolis serves as a vibrant hub for learning, entertainment, discovery, and knowledge for visitors of all ages. Among its treasures are clay vessels, glass objects, bronze and silver coins, sculptures, funerary stelae, weapons, jewellery, figurines, tools, and everyday items from both settlements and cemeteries. Together, these pieces tell the fascinating story of the Evros region, spanning from the Prehistoric era to the Roman period. 

Operating under the jurisdiction of the Evros Antiquities Ephorate, a regional division of the Ministry of Culture, the Archaeological Museum of Alexandroupolis is dedicated to preserving and presenting the rich cultural heritage of the area.
